What type of CME is this?
About our AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM offerings
Hippo Education, LLC. is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM for physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
A number of the CME activities we provide are valid for 3 years starting from the initial date of the activity.
AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM is accepted by the AANP, NCCPA, ANCC and most nursing boards, however, we always recommend checking with your accrediting body to confirm that they do accept these credits and what documentation is needed to report them.
At this time, Hippo Education, LLC. does not have activities approved for MOC credit.
About our AAPA CME credit offerings
Select PA activities have been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and are compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. These activities are designated for either AAPA Category 1 CME credits or AAPA Category 1 Self-Assessment CME credits. Approval is valid for one year from the starting date of the activity. PAs should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
For NCCPA certification maintenance ONLY, NCCPA will now apply an additional 50 percent weighting when the self-assessment credits are logged for NCCPA certification maintenance purposes. PAs should log the AAPA Category 1 Self-Assessment CME credits, as the additional weighting will be automatically applied by NCCPA.
About our AAP credit offerings
For select Pediatric activities, we offer AAP credit. These continuing medical education activities have been reviewed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the American Academy of Pediatrics. For enduring materials, the term of approval is valid for one year from the starting date of the activity.
About our AAFP credit offerings
Select activities have been reviewed and are acceptable for prescribed credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. For enduring materials, the term of approval is valid for one year from the starting date of the activity.
About our AOA credit offerings
The AOA automatically recognizes AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ as AOA Category 2 credit.
