Dr. Kasper is a family doctor who started training in the OBGYN world which provided her with a nice blend of procedure skills with her family med bedside manner. Rebecca is menopause certified and she has a masters in public health in metrics and evaluation so she envisions health problems big and small, individual and community wide. In her non clinical time, she loves cooking, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Kirsten started her academic career at Harvard, and after a side tour through ski bumming, returned to academia with a PhD in Anatomy and Neurobiology from the University of Vermont. Her career bushwack continued with a stint in neuroscience software and technical writing, a few years as a consultant with the Vermont Department of Health working on breastfeeding promotion, certification as a Lactation Consultant, teaching in the UVM college of nursing, and finally a masters in nursing to become a nurse practitioner. She has been in clinical practice a baker's dozen of years, with experience in Pain Management, Adult Primary Care, and Urgent Care. She continues to teach in continuing education courses on a wide variety of topics relevant to primary care and urgent care.
