Vicky Pittman attended the Keck School of Medicine of USC Physician Assistant Program. Since graduation, she has worked for a decade in community emergency departments and urgent care centers across Oregon, New Jersey, and Tennessee. Vicky also serves as the VP of Education at Hippo Education. In her free time, she loves spending time with her two daughters, traveling with her husband, and taking her fluffy corgi on long walks on the beach.

Sol Behar is an award winning educator, and practicing pediatric emergency medicine physician at Long Beach Memorial/Miller Children's Hospital. He completed his general pediatric residency, chief residency, and emergency medicine fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He grew up in Las Vegas, NV and insists you always split aces when playing Blackjack. He has hosted the CME podcast Pediatrics Reviews and Perspectives (Peds RAP) since its inception in 2015, and truly loves educating himself and his listeners. He is glad to have three children of his own who give him pediatric street cred, and a good excuse to stay hip to YA literature.

Karen Hovav is a general pediatrician practicing in Los Angeles California. She completed pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles over 15 years ago. She has worked in settings ranging from rural community hospitals, urban clinics and fast-paced urgent care settings. She has written numerous articles for parenting website WhatsUpMoms and GoodRx, and brings that enthusiasm for health education to her role as a medical editor for PedsRap. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and 3 young children, coming up with overly ambitious baking or art projects for the kids, and planning their next travel adventure.

Erin Pressley, PA-C

Erin Pressley has been a physician assistant for over 12 years. During that time, she has worked in emergency departments and urgent care centers in Tennessee and Illinois. Erin also immersed herself in telemedicine to extend care to patients during the pandemic. Additionally, she has experience in PA education as adjunct faculty, full time faculty and Director of Didactic Education. In her free time, she enjoys shuffling her three boys to sports games, going on adventures with her husband, working out, and boating.
