Dr. Parul Bhatia has been caring for children seen in the ambulatory and inpatient setting at CHLA and for over 15 years. She is currently the Co-Clerkship Director for Pediatrics for the Year III students at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and is the Co-Clerkship Director for Pediatrics for the Year IV students at CHLA.
Dr. Bhatia is the California Chapter 2 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Champion for Early Hearing Detection and Intervention, and is nationally known for her work in infant-toddler hearing screening in the medical home.

Liza Mackintosh completed her General Pediatric Internship and Residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). She couldn't leave such a special place and was asked to stay as a Chief Resident and then was hired as a faculty member in the Division of General Pediatrics. She is a practicing pediatrician, clinician educator, certified lactation educator and the Site Medical Director of the AltaMed CHLA clinic (a very busy outpatient Federally Funded Health Care General Pediatric clinic). She absolutely loves her involvement with all things Hippo!
