Keeping Up: New Updates for Urgent Care Bootcamp

In the ever-evolving field of urgent care, staying abreast of the latest knowledge and practices is crucial. We're excited to announce that we launched five new videos along with detailed written summaries focusing on common acute care injuries and procedures. These enhancements equip you with the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to walk confidently into your next UC shift.

Expanding Condition-Focused and Procedure Video Content

Musculoskeletal Updates:

Raise your hand if you’re ready to master hand injuries. We’ve refreshed our musculoskeletal content by adding a new must-see video that's hands down essential. This new video covers everything from fractures to ligament and tendon injuries of the hand. This new content will help take the guesswork out of the diagnosis and may just make hand injuries your new favorite chief complaint.

Common Infection Updates:

As the seasons change, so do the challenges in urgent care. Our new video takes a deep dive into the management of Lyme disease, including how to recognize the different stages of Lyme disease and review the criteria for prophylactic antibiotic treatment after a high-risk tick bite. This video will equip you with the knowledge needed to identify and manage tick bites quickly— so you can get your patients back outside to enjoy the weather!

Procedure Video Updates:

We’ve expanded our procedure videos to include step-by-step videos on repairing nail bed lacerations and removing foreign bodies from the skin. These practical videos are designed to  enhance your clinical skills and elevate the level of patient care you provide.

Why These Updates Matter

At Hippo, our goal isn’t just to help you excel in your urgent care practice—it’s to prepare you for the real-world challenges you’ll face in this dynamic field. We ensure that our content is comprehensive and reflects the latest standards of care and technological advancements in urgent care.

Whether you're an experienced clinician or a new grad preparing for your first shift, our newly updated Urgent Care Bootcamp content is designed to be your reliable guide in navigating your next patient encounter.
